Post 16 Parents & Carers Guide

Essex Local Offer SEND Roadshows Summer Term 2026

The roadshows are a series of in-person information events for parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

During the events, you can speak with different SEND professionals under one roof. This includes representatives from local support groups, education professionals, health teams, and social care teams.

You can drop in to an event when it’s convenient for you, without booking and:

  • access support and information
  • find out about the different services available
  • find out about support available in schools
  • find out about local support, such as parent groups
  • meet other carers and parents

All the events run from 9.30 until 12.30pm.  The next roadshow dates and locations are:
